Bigboy Dabu holds a diploma in auctioneering from South Africa auctioneering college. He has worked for various auction companies such as parkvillage auctions for 7 years and Auction Alliance in 2003 where he worked as a side manager and was eventually promoted to operations manager. Bigboy is currently the building manager responsible for maintenance across Nthwese’s property portfolio.


Zanele Mkize

Zanele Mkize holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) her first opportunity to apply marketing knowledge was at MTN in 2006 where she worked in the Customer Services Department in Durban.
In 2011 she moved to Johannesburg and joined Nthwese Developments as an Operational Creditors Consultant this role enhanced her knowledge and understanding of the property business, events management and marketing.


Monique Pieterse

Development Management, Head

Monique Pieterse studied BCom Marketing at the University of Port Elizabeth. She ventured into the property sector in 2006, where she managed a property portfolio and executed Tenant Co-ordination for properties across all sectors, with a various mix of National retailers, Office and industrial tenants.

She holds a CAPM in project management and was promoted to Project Manager at HBW Group. Her exposure as PM and Client Representative for larger scale construction projects from inception to completion of the development further broadened her skills set.

She maintained a close interaction with the asset and facilities management teams of the various buildings’ within her portfolio which ensured well managed income producing properties. Monique is the development manager at Nthwese, she manages the implementation of all new developments from project inception to completion.


Thabo Ntseare

COO

Thabo Ntseare is a Chartered Accountant from the University of Cape Town, he did his articles at Ernst & Young in the Johannesburg office. In 2004, he joined Rand Merchant Bank Structured Finance Division, initially as a credit analyst and later as a specilist Credit Analyst in the Leveraged Buyouts Unit.In 2005 he joined their property finance division as a transactor. Thabo looks at Office Properties and Student Accomodation for Nthwese.


Vezi Msibi

Business Development – Africa

Vezi Msibi has a BCom degree from University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MBA from the University of Cape Town. He has vast experience in investment banking focussing on venture capital, private equity, leverage finance and BEE transactions.

He has worked in other African countries such as Uganda, Ghana, Tanzania. He has worked for companies such as Sanlam, Investec Bank, Industrial Development Corporation and Standard Bank. In venture capital, he was involved from conceptualistation to implementation of business plans for small businesses accross various industries. In private equity he evaluated commercial viability of projects, performed company valuations, transaction structuring and was involved in company strategy development. Vezi focuses on identifying real estate development and investment opportunities on the continent at Nthwese.


Jackline Okeyo

Business Development and Operations, Head

Ms Jackline Okeyo holds a B.Sc Honours degree in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town. She has also obtained her Property Development Programme Certificate from the Graduate School of Business, UCT and is an Accredited Green Building Consultant through the GBCSA.

Jackline worked at Investec Bank for over 5 years, initially in the Property Investments Team analysing Listed Funds. She later moved to the property developments team gaining significant exposure to deal sourcing and analysis of commercial real estate transactions for some of SA’s largest corporations.

In addition, she has accummulated experience in development management, particulary in Concept Design Development and Strategic Marketing of properties to corporate tenants and broking houses. Jackline heads up Operations and Business Development at Nthwese.


Seabelo (Herbert) Theledi

Seabelo (Herbert ) Theledi is the founder and managing director of Nthwese Developments. He holds a Bcom Degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of the North.

He founded Nthwese in 1994 and has over 20 years experience in the real estate industry, he was instrumental in growing Nthwese’s portfolio to just over R2bn, prior to the sale of half the portfolio to JSE listed Rebosis property fund.

Herbert holds directorships in various companies and has business interests in various industries including motor and logistics.He currently sits on the committee of the Black Property Owners Association, previous committees that he has been part of include Bushbuckridge Chamber of Commerce and the Education Forum.


Nonhlanhla Mngomezulu

Assistant Development Manager

Nonhlanhla Mngomezulu holds a Certificate in Business Management from Central Johannesburg TVET College, a Certificate in Property Investment and Practise from Wits and a Diploma in Project Management from Oxbridge Academy. In 2005, she joined JHI (The Mall of Rosebank) as the Centre Administrator/Receptionist. She then progressed to Zenprop (Maponya Mall) where she gained vast experience on operations, marketing, events management and centre management. She joined Nthwese Developments 2011 as the (PA) personal assistant to the Managing Director whilst fulfilling her duties her role was extended to oversee NGO, events planning and management. In 2016 she was promoted to an Assistant Development Manager.
